Only for these internal purposes, speech recordings may be anonymously reviewed by our speech analysis team. Our team members only review recordings without the associated profile name and parent email and our business policies forbid them from attempting to identify speakers. An exception applies when responding to a specific parental request relating to their child’s data.

Protection of our rights, interests, and the security and integrity of our services

Navigate to the main menu and tap the settings icon
Select "Delete Account"
Follow the verification prompts to confirm your intent
All data associated with your account and child profiles will be permanently deleted or anonymized

Alternatively, you may send an email to privacy@myspeechbot.com from the parent email associated with your account with the subject “Delete Account” and we will process your request promptly.

Please note that after account deletion, we may retain certain system logs for a limited period for security, legal, and compliance purposes.

Data Retention

If a user requests account deletion, all associated account data is promptly and permanently deleted. Even without explicit deletion requests, we are committed to retaining personal information only as long as necessary for legitimate legal or business purposes. Account data and speech recordings are retained after inactivity to avoid loss of progress and customized features as well as to provide ongoing service improvement, but no longer than necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, and in no case longer than five years from the last account activity. Aggregated, fully anonymized, or permanently de-identified data and derivative works such as machine learning models that cannot reasonably be linked to or used to re-identify any individual user may be retained indefinitely.
